Rich Nielsen | Harvard University

Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in the Government Department at Harvard University and I recently received an A.M. from the Harvard Statistics Department. I work on various topics in comparative politics, international relations, and political methodology. My dissertation explores the politics of Islamic law, focusing on Islamic legal rulings called fatwas. Some of my other research has appeared in The American Journal of Political Science and Population Health Management. In my free time, I write for Harvard's Social Science Statistics blog (my posts).

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
