Intermediate ItalianLimited Enrollment Course
Elvira G. DiFabio
Students are introduced to modern Italian culture while developing the ability to understand Italian in many different social and intellectual situations. Topics for class discussion touch upon notions of the history, geography, art, music, and literature of Italy, and a grammar review aims to reinforce and refine the four basic communication skills. Reading materials include newspaper and internet articles, selections from major Italian writers, and a short novel. Regular language lab attendance is required.
