Catalog Number: 1847 Half course (fall term). M., W., (F.), at 11. EXAM GROUP: 4An overview of the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict, and an examination of primary sources to analyze how those sources are used in secondary texts. Will proceed chronologically to relate a variety of narrative histories to primary sources taken from collections of documents, memoirs, published diaries and autobiographies. Attention will be paid to the historiographical debates surrounding key issues such as the 1948 refugee question, and the various peace initiatives.
