Purpose:   

    The rocks, caves and eco-systems quiz is designed to test your subject knowledge of Science througha web technology quiz . The rocks, caves and eco-systems quiz allows you as students to compare sort and group graphic pre historic rock and cave painting samples.  In this quiz , a brief introductory  narrative explains how our pre-historic ancestors found  mineral and chemical  compounds  within quartz  crystals as  the necessary rudiments to  create  paint  for their art and the  rocks and caverns  as the canvas  for their  artistic message.  Early cave dwellers  in Altamira Spain, Lascaux, France, Sierra de la San Francisco, Mexico, Lass Gal, Somaliland, Southeast Asia, Germany and India all used  extrusive and intrusive igneous  rocks , minerals and quartz crystals  as the necessary substance  to create  the artistic message which has eventually  left  an evolving significance for  all of us.
