Ethical and Philosophical Issues Arising from the Use of Technology in Education

This seminar will discuss a range of ethical and philosophical issues that arise from the growing use of computer technology in both formal and informal educational settings. We will consider some questions relating to the organization of the educational function of the society as well as some questions arising from the use of the computer as a communications medium and as an expository medium. [limited enrollment; permission of the instructor required].
