Universal Database of Russian Newspapers
East View Publications' Universal Database of Russian Newspapers (UDB-COM) provides direct access to in-depth information on Russia and the former Soviet Union within hours of publication in Moscow or St. Petersburg, including the full-text files of over 30 of the most influential Russian newspapers. Each day some 900-1000 new articles are added to the database. Over 450,000 articles are available to date. General and Reference--News. This resource has some full text available.

ISI Emerging Markets
ISI Emerging Markets provides current, comprehensive country and company information from more than 500 sources for emerging markets in Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Arranged by country, this resource includes: country profiles; macroecomonic statistics, forecasts and analysis; reports on financial markets, companies and industries; exchange rates; analyst reports; and business news. Updated daily. Some text and spreadsheet information is downloadable into Microsoft Word and Excel. Russian and Chinese fonts need to be loaded to read documents in these languages. Instructions for downloading and installing these fonts are available on the pages for those countries. After reaching the Emerging Markets website, if you are prompted to login, simply click on the cancel button in the authentication window. You will be able to use the website without logging in. Restrictions: Harvard users only: Harvard ID and University PIN required. Entires under "Europe" for the countries: Bulgaria, C.Asia - Caucasus, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, Yugoslavia. The Russian Academy of Sciences Bibliographies database covers material in the humanities and social sciences published in the Commonwealth of Independent States, in Eastern European countries, and elsewhere, including periodicals, books, and manuscripts. Browser compatibility note: access to Eureka on the Web requires use of a World Wide Web browser that supports HTML frames and tables, as well as JavaScript.
