Memoir

Limited Enrollment Course
4 units
1-3:30 pm

Susan E. Carlisle

Students learn to shape material taken from their personal experiences and memories into interesting, compelling narratives. Students examine published memoirs for approaches to writing their own memoir or part of a memoir. Discussions focus on how to narrate personal experience effectively, how to turn impressions into concrete writing, and how to balance fact and fiction.
