A seminar course on the mammals and other vertebrates of Australia and Melanesia. Topics to be covered will include the mammalian biology and diversity of Australasia, mammalian paleontology in Australia, the composition of contemporary carnivore guilds, Quaternary extinctions and current threats to biological diversity.
